Despina Nissiriou is a Greek artist living in Edinburgh. She has studied Ceramics and Sculpture at the university of Wolverhampton and Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts. She has recently completed a postgraduate course in Contemporary Art Practice at the Edinburgh College of Art. Her training gives her the liberty to experiment with a wide range of media and art disciplines in order to express her concerns about the  relationship with ourselves and with others, issues of personal and national identity, the public and the domestic.
